A recent news byte about rising fuel costs mentioned that people were becomming so desperate for gas money to get to work, that they were selling off family heirlooms, coin collections and the like - online and at garage sales. I imagine this will be the picture for some time to come, since it takes 7 - 10 years to do the research and testing required to pump one oil rig.

yep...its unfortunate that these kinds of issues become more fodder for political animosity between the parties-there is no immediate relief to high gas prices by digging into potential oil fields in Florida waters, but if you don't agree with destroying
